About the project

HCC Tomper Weg GmbH developed two modern dementia residential communities, each designed for 12 residents. The vision: create a peaceful and secure environment where residents live independently but safely — supported by intelligent technology rather than constant supervision.

The developer needed a digital system capable of automatically detecting and reporting critical events such as falls or long inactivity periods. The goal was to meet all care documentation standards, improve night-shift security, and reduce staff dependency on manual monitoring. The system had to be reliable, easy to manage, and unobtrusive — letting carers focus on people, not devices.
