About the project

An accomodation district in Munich with over 800 apartments and 30% of tenants over 70 years old. Vonovia wanted to create a senior-friendly housing offer that promotes and facilitates independent living at home in old age. For a carefree life in your own neighborhood.

Vonovia was looking for a solution to offer their older tenants a life with more security. Other solution providers failed due to a lack of reliability or high costs. Divital convinced Vonovia with proven technology, a holistic concept, and an economic model.

Intelligent home emergency call and assistance system

- multi-sensor system with automatic emergency and fall detection

Divital delivered a modern AAL system, registered in the directory of nursing aids and subsidized by health insurance – for more safety in the everyday lives of Vonovia's tenants.

Consultation and assistance for the seniors

- Organized information evenings and materials for residents

Installation and operation

- Emergency call and AAL systems installed for seniors with and without the so called cale grade, and connected to the emergency call center of the German Red Cross.

Service extention and scaling up

Further development of the Vonovia partnership: establishment of a counseling center for seniors and relatives in Munich involving care companies

With support from the Munich and Pasing-Obermenzig Senior Citizens' Advisory Board, Vonovia, Divital, and our care partners enable a safe and independent life in old age. For relatives, this means peace of mind, as their loved ones are optimally protected and cared for.
